LIVE BURN TRAINING
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, Northwest Rockingham Fire Department hosted a live burn training exercise, bringing together firefighters from
multiple departments and counties for valuable hands-on training. Live burn training provides firefighters with realistic fire conditions to
strengthen their skills, improve coordination, and build teamwork across departments.
We sincerely appreciate all the departments and firefighters who came together to participate, as well as Northwest Volunteer Fire Department for
hosting this important training opportunity.
I would like to Thank Chief Cardwell for allowing me to show our Communities the hardwork put in by all the Volunteer's that protect their
perspective Communites.
A special shoutout to Stoneville Fire Dept. for covering calls so these crews could train. That’s what supporting each other looks like!
