SEARCH & RESCUE TRAINING EXERCISE

Joint Training — Station 36 & Station 37 On Monday, September 28, 2026, Station 36 and Station 37 held a joint training exercise focused on firefighter search and rescue. The training involved firefighters entering a smoke-filled room to locate and rescue a victim. With the room filled with thick smoke, visibility was extremely limited, making it difficult for firefighters to see and navigate. This type of hands-on training allows our firefighters to practice searching under difficult conditions while improving communication, teamwork, and confidence. Training like this is an important part of staying prepared for the challenges firefighters may face during an actual emergency and helping keep our firefighters and community safe.
