STRUCTURE FIRE
On Saturday Jan. 24th 2026 @ 1:34 PM Stokes dispatched Station 36 to a Structure Fire in the 1000 BLK of Rhodes Loop. Upon arrival, crews found a working Structure Fire with the bulk of the fire concentrated at the rear of the house. 36 personnel did an interior fire attack via the front of the residence. A brief *mayday* was called by the interior crew after an interior firefighter fell through the floor from a height of approximately 6 feet. Exterior firefighters quickly rescued the firefighter who luckily was not hurt. After the initial fire attack fire personnel perfomed salvage and overhaul operations to extinguish any remaining hot spots and preserve the residents belongings. All residents of the home were accounted for and uninjured. Station 36 would like to thank all responding Departments for their assistance. Stokes-Rockingham Fire & Rescue Dept.
