MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
On the evening of December 2nd, Station 36 personnel were dispatched to a reported Motor Vehicle Accident involving multiple vehicles. Station 37 was also dispatched as automatic aid to assist. Chief 36 arrived on scene to report 3 vehicles involved, wheel resting, and a head on collision and assumed incident command. Upon investigation, Chief 36 reported 2 patients, with 1 being pinned in the vehicle. 36 Engine 3 arrived on scene and began extrication. Other available personnel began medical care of patients on scene, while members performed extrication. Total removal of the driver's side of the vehicle and roof was performed. A no relief dash push was then performed to free the patient. Stokes County EMS transported both patients to medical facilities. Special thanks for all the assistance, and thoughts and prayers for all involved on a speedy recovery.
