The firefighters proudly serve the citizens of the Northeast Stokes fire district
forestry service field practicals
Over the last month, members of Station 36 have been working to complete their s-190, s-130, and L-180 with the forestry service.
On Saturday June 14th, they participated in the field practicals to complete their certification. This training is beneficial for our
members to understand wildfire’s and the necessary steps to contain them. All in all 16 members from Station 36 completed this
training with 2 personnel remaining to complete their field practicals at a later date! It was an extremely hot and humid day but
we pushed through and once again they make me one proud Chief!!
One of these days they will hopefully let the Chief stay in the a\c where he belongs!!!
