Statewide Search and Rescue Exercise
On May 15th through the 18th 2025, members of Station 36 participated in the Statewide Search and Rescue Exercise known as
the Burke County SarEx. Our members along with members of Madison Rescue Squad participated in both Swiftwater and High
Angle Rope exercises. These types of exercises are based on real life incidents and are specialized in nature. Our members worked
on gps navigation, boat operations, rope rescue, high lines, water rescue, and open water rescue. Chief Clark, Assistant Chief
Webb, and Rescue Tech Hall participated from Station 36 and Chief Stewart from Rescue 200.
