Brush Fire assist Stopping for a snack Brush Fire assist
Tuesday February 25th, Station 36 assisted Lawsonville Fire Department on a 1 acre brush fire. Station 36 provided UTV 36 and Tanker 36 for assistance. It was a busy day for our station as we ran multiple calls for assistance and some of our own. Of course we couldn’t pass by Priddy's General Store and not stop for an apple pie and Sundrop.

Wednesday Feb. 5th 2025 @ 1:49 PM Station 36 was dispatched to the 1100 BLK of Marion Spencer Rd for a Brush fire. Upon arrival Station 36 personnel found about 2 acres of land in the woods on fire. Crews were able to quickly stop the progress of the fire. A drone was also launched to look for fire extension beyond the fire line. None was found. Station 36 would like to thank all assisting Departments: Station 32, Station 39, Stokes County Forestry, Stokes County Fire Marshals Office. Departments that were canceled in route: Rockingham County Station 80, Station 130
