Monday Feb 17th 2025 Station 36 did our annual CPR recertification. We do it annually to make sure we are at the top of our game. Also we celebrated one of our con-Ed instructors Lindsay Brown’s birthday. Ended up she didn’t get to be our instructor tonight like originally planned so we just celebrated and ate her cake without her. No point in letting good cake go to waste!!! Happy Birthday Lindsay!!!

Wednesday Feb. 5th 2025 @ 1:49 PM Station 36 was dispatched to the 1100 BLK of Marion Spencer Rd for a Brush fire. Upon arrival Station 36 personnel found about 2 acres of land in the woods on fire. Crews were able to quickly stop the progress of the fire. A drone was also launched to look for fire extension beyond the fire line. None was found. Station 36 would like to thank all assisting Departments: Station 32, Station 39, Stokes County Forestry, Stokes County Fire Marshals Office. Departments that were canceled in route: Rockingham County Station 80, Station 130
