The firefighters proudly serve the citizens of the Northeast Stokes fire district
Northeast Stokes Volunteer Fire & Rescue Station 36
was dispatched to a MVC at 2825 NC-770 on Dec. 3rd 2024. Upon arrival responding units found a rolled over tractor trailer fully loaded and on fire.
Personnel quickly contacted dispatch for more personnel. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it reached the load in the trailer,
which consisted of wood chips. Northeast Stokes Fire & Rescue would like to thank all responding units for there help.
