November 6th 2023, Station 36 did basic firefighter skills training
We trained on, Hose advancements involved deploying and advancing a charged hose line to extinguish fires and protect occupants. We also trained on, Proper ladder placement which is necessary for accessing elevated structures, providing ventilation, and rescuing victims. This was a great learning experience for all firefighter's especially our Junior Firefighter's. Also had discussions about the importance of proper hose advancements, experienceand training is important since misdirected hose could result in the spread of the fire or cause damage.
