Tonight’s training at Northeast stokes fire and rescue we had remote brush truck relay pumping where we ran 2.5inch supply lines to out new 900 gallon military truck that we converted into a brush truck. The goal behind this training was to get everyone acquainted to the regular operations and controls of the new truck. This style of relay pumping is good for remote areas where large trucks aren’t readily accessible for example we have driveways in our response area that have older wooden bridges and our large trucks would not be able to pass so this would be a better way to approach that situation
